Biodiesel is a renewable, biodegradable fule manufactured domestically from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant grease. Biodiesel meets both the biomass-based diesel and overall advanced biofuel requirement of the Renewable Fuel Standard.

High Sulfur Fuel Oil (HSFO) is the bottom of the oil barrel with the lowest priced oil product now that is the alternative to using marine fuels with such low sulfur content. The HSFO have a maximum sulfur content of 3.5%

LSFO means Low Sulfur Fuel Oil, meeting customary industry fuel oil specifications and having a sulfur content not greather than 0.5%
